The Center for STEM Education
The Center matches the STEM and education resources of UNC Charlotte to the needs of the surrounding schools to improve K-12 mathematics, science, and engineering education in North Carolina.
The mission of the Center for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Education is to promote a regional vision for STEM education and outreach, to increase capacity in leadership, and to facilitate collaborative partnerships for addressing STEM priorities for PreK-16.

2020 STEM Summer Research Experience and AEOP/REAP Internships Cancelled
New federal guidance is that all gatherings of 10 or more people should be avoided, and the University encourages everyone to follow the federal standards. Based on these guidelines, UNC System guidance and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), all events scheduled through the Center for STEM Education, Cato College of Education, are cancelled through the academic semester ending May 14, 2020.
