(MaPP) to bring mathematical puzzle events to UNC Charlotte campus.
The MaPP High School Challenge ’18 is a team-based mathematical puzzle competition for high school students held at multiple college campuses across the country. Unlike most math competitions, HSC18 doesn’t require any knowledge beyond basic algebra and rewards players’ problem-solving ability over their previous mathematical background. For more information please visit the MaPP High School Challenge homepage.
We are including middle school teams this year. Middle school coaches and participants will receive the same lunch and t-shirt that high school participants receive. The cost of registering is the same as for high schools.
Date: Saturday, April 14, 2018, 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
Location: UNC Charlotte, ground floor, Fretwell Building, parking free in the East Deck.
Lunch and T-shirt will be provided for each Student and Teacher/Chaperone/Coach
Please register each team you wish to bring to MaPP HSC18 at UNC Charlotte. Space is limited to the first 15 teams who register and submit payment, so early registration is recommended. Each team can have up to 8 members.
