On Monday, March 4, 2019, the UNC Charlotte Departments of Chemistry, Mathematics and Statistics, Physics and Optical Science, and the Center for STEM Education are cooperatively sponsoring another exciting single day of academic competitions for high school students in Mecklenburg County and surrounding counties.
The competition schedule will permit your students to test their skills individually in mathematics (Comprehensive or Level 3) or science or both. The schedule for the testing periods is such that students may not compete in both the chemistry and physics contests. Both mathematics contests will be held simultaneously, so students must choose between the Comprehensive and the Level 3 contests. Note: No calculators will be allowed for either math test at UNC Charlotte, as is also the case for the State High School Mathematics Contest (all divisions).
Awards for participants will be presented in the afternoon Awards Ceremony.
A fee of $10.00 will be charged per student per contest.
